BRX is an intelligent IoT barrier lock designed for physical security and continuous monitoring of the intermodal container.

BRX protects cargo in intermodal environments by using a set of high-precision sensors, IoT (Internet of things), and Machine Learning (ML). The interworking of BRX and Red Flag STM (Security Transit Management platform) performs ML to anticipate human trafficking, vulnerabilities, anomalies, and theft to both safeguard cargo and alert incidents in a timely manner.

Security Geofencing

Security Geofencing is a tactic to identify areas on a map that will force BRX to lock in high-risk areas.  This can be accomplished either manually, based on route deviation, or dynamically using Machine Learning and Security Predictive Analytics.  BRX Geofencing forces the barrier lock to lock or unlock based on these variables and inputs.

  • Geofencing can be performed manually by pinning a radius on a map that has been historically problematic

  • Geofencing can be performed with Machine Learning based on Predictive Security Analytics, sensors data, and external data points

  • Geofencing can be performed on deviations of scheduled route vs actual route.  Any deviation in the route can cause BRX to lock itself

BRX Physical Lock

The heavy-duty barrier lock can be locked and unlocked by phone (IOS or Android) or remotely, and is equipped with a processor, an array of sensors, and a long-life battery.

  • Embedded sensors provide a constant exchange of prudent data to Red Flag STM platform

  • BRX communicates bi-directionally with Red Flag STM to performs diagnostics and analysis

  • BRX can be locked and unlocked manually either with an IOS or Android device from authorized personnel or remotely from a Monitoring Control Center

  • BRX can be locked and unlocked systematically with defined parameters, geofence settings, or Machine Learning (ML) output.  BRX locks proactively using Predictive Security Analytics

Red Flag STM utilizes IoT to gather data from sensors and communicate bi-directionally with BRX.  Red Flag STM Machine Learning constantly analyses sensors and security data from all the devices and integrations to detect any signs of human presence, any signs of tampering, or any anomalies in the container environment (motion, sound, light, temperature, humidity, CO2 level).

  • Red Flag provides Reports, Real-time notifications, APIs, Interactive dashboards that are available with Red Flag STM software to view historic and real-time health and security status of cargo and containers.

  • Machine Learning Stack sits on top of STM to analyze structured data, IoT data, geo locations, and external data to predict and anticipate anomalies before they occur.  Predictive and proactive security means security officers are dispatched to the right location at the right time.
